Private by design

Your images are processed by your own browser and never uploaded. Ideal for IDs, invoices or contracts.

No logo stamped on your pages, no hidden limits, no sign-up.

Scan with your phone

Photograph your documents: edges are detected and the paper is whitened for a crisp, scanner-like result.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. The conversion happens entirely in your browser, on your computer or phone. Your images and your PDF are never sent over the internet, so we cannot see or keep them. Once the page has loaded, the tool even works offline.

Is the converter really free? Does it add a watermark?

Yes, it is completely free, with no sign-up and no watermark: your pages stay exactly as you prepared them. Fichora is funded by unobtrusive ads and by donations from people who want to support it.

How many images can I put in one PDF?

There is no fixed limit. Since everything runs on your device, it depends on its memory: dozens of pages work fine on a recent phone, and many more on a computer.

How do I get a PDF under 10 MB to send by email?

Choose “For email” under “Size and quality”. The tool automatically reduces the images until the PDF is under 10 MB. The estimated size is shown before you even create the file.

Can I use it on my phone and take photos directly?

Yes. Tap “Take photo” to capture your documents one after another. The page edges are detected automatically and the “Document” filter makes the paper bright white. You can then share the PDF straight from your phone.

How do I reorder pages or rotate an image?

On a computer, drag a thumbnail to its new spot. On a phone, press and hold a thumbnail, then move it, or use the arrows below each page. Tap a page to rotate it, crop it or change its filter.
